Kyle Bender

Above all else, we seek connection — with parts of ourselves that we have repressed, with other people, and with the larger universe. We cannot experience life in its fullness unless we have an intimate relationship with another human being and, beyond that, a feeling of connection with the world around us.

About Kyle Bender, LMFT-A
Supervised by Billy Myers, LMFT-S

Kyle Bender has always been fascinated by human relationships and the profound beauty and challenges of life. A lifelong learner, Kyle brings a passion for growth and discovery to his work as a therapist.

Drawing from the latest neuroscience and his training in Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Kyle helps clients understand that they make sense—emphasizing that feelings and behaviors are deeply connected to personal experiences. He encourages clients to move away from the question, “What’s wrong with me?” and instead ask, “What happened to me, and how has it shaped me?” This shift fosters a greater sense of self-compassion and clarity.

Kyle recognizes that the brain constantly draws from past experiences to navigate the present, which can impact emotions and behaviors. For those who prefer not to revisit the past, he offers practical tools such as nervous system and emotional regulation, empowering clients to respond to life’s challenges with greater calm and intention.

Grounded in the science of human connection, Kyle’s approach celebrates the complexity of being human. He believes that making sense of oneself is both achievable and transformative.

Kyle works with individuals and couples, helping them break free from feeling stuck, rediscover joy, navigate relationships, and process trauma or other difficulties. His goal is to support clients in creating more fulfilling and satisfying lives.
